Instructions for Updating EAMS with the latest SIBERIA

You must install the EAMS suite before you update to the latest version of SIBERIA.

Once the suite is installed you should then unzip the latest version of siberia into a convenient (but different to eams) directory. You will now replace the version of siberia that was installed by the eams installer. The simplest way to to this is to open the directory for the documentation in the EAMS menu item in the START menu. When the window with the documentation opens click on the up arrow to go up one folder level. There are about 20-30 files in this new folder, one of which is called siberia.exe. Rename the existing one in this folder siberia-old.exe (if there is an existing siberia-old.exe then you should delete it first) and copy into the directory siberia.exe from the zip file (NB: The .zip file may include a file that is called siberia8xx.exe rather than siberia.exe ... where xx is simply the version number of the software. If this is the case then when you copy in the file rename siberia8xx.exe to siberia.exe.)

You are now ready to go.

Instructions for Installing a Standalone version of SIBERIA without EAMS

Unzip the latest version of siberia into a convenient directory on your computer. If you don't already have them you should also download the latest support files.
